Really good experience with MP Auto Group. Max and Loz were both great to deal with and were fair, straightforward and easy to talk to and deal with from the start.There was no pressure or typical sales tactics at any point, it just felt like a normal conversation rather than being pushed into products and addons, and that made the whole process a lot more relaxed. They were also very quick to reply to messages or call back and had all the information I wanted to hand.Their cars were also all in immaculate condition, everything is properly prepared and not just quickly turned around, and it shows in the overall quality, to the point where he could show me a panel on my car and then on one they were selling and there was a clear difference in preparation quality. Their photos and social media are also very well done and everything is presented properly and gives a clear, honest impression of what you’re looking at.We also ended up chatting a bit about the business side of things as well and it’s inspired me to start looking into setting up my own car sales business. It’s good to see people doing it properly and building something the right way.Overall just a straightforward, stress-free experience, which isn’t always the case when buying a car, as I have been stung by dodgy cars and poor customer service before elsewhere. If they keep doing things this way, they’ll definitely build further on their already strong reputation and be up there with some of the best specialist dealers in the country. Would happily recommend and delighted to have done business with them.

In April 2026 I purchased a 2017 BMW 420D from Max at MP Auto Group which I couldn’t be happier with! From the first phone call enquiring about the car, I could tell Max was different to any other car salesman I’d ever previously dealt with. It’s clear that Max is a car enthusiast and has great product knowledge. He was super friendly on the phone, even offering a video call to show me any slight imperfections before I made the journey to see the car. When viewing the car, everything was exactly as described, the car was in excellent condition and was presented beautifully having just been machine polished. Everything was easy to arrange and Max was very accommodating with availability. He made me feel very comfortable, almost like talking to a friend and he wasn’t pushy or pressurising, and he made it clear I didn’t have to make a decision there and then. Due to having a few issues with my previous car (Not bought from or related to MP Auto Group) including a delay in taking off a personal registration, it presented a slight delay in the process. Max was very understanding of this and was willing to hold the car for myself despite other interest. The whole process from start to finish including the arrangement of finance was made as simple and as easy as possible. I could not have asked for a better experience, I was kept informed throughout, communication was great from day one and the customer service was nothing short of outstanding! Max even offered to pick me up from the train station on collection day which I thought was the cherry on top! I could not recommend Max and MP Auto Group enough! Thanks again!

Brilliant. Friendly and efficient service. Max and the others are car enthusiasts and it’s shows… my Golf R is fantastic. It had the front brakes done and Haldex service done and they thought there was a sensor issue with the heater that turned out to be a blockage but either way it was getting sorted before collection. I had bought an Abarth 595 competizione from MP Auto Group and it was the easiest and most relaxed I’ve ever been whilst buying a car. Max was very friendly and up for a joke whilst also being very honest and straightforward. He didn’t pressure me or hassle me, it truly felt like I was buying a car from a friend. He kept me up to date with the condition of the car whilst it was having its MOT and general maintenance and he made sure that the car was at its best. I would highly recommend Max and MP Auto Group. The Abarth looked stunning when I got there, they had clearly taken really good care of it whilst it was in their possession. They had also fixed an electrical issue that the car had when they could have easily not said anything and sold it to me like that. Overall I can easily say they’ve given me the best experience when buying a car and I would happily go back to them in the future.

Buying a car from Max was a complete dream! I thought it was too good to be true, but it wasn't. I saw the cutest little mini and rang on a Sunday thinking I could leave a message. Max picked up and had done a full video walk around within an hour of me calling. My friend who buys a lot of cars, was blown away by the detail that Max showed both on the paperwork and the onboard system. Max arranged transport for me down to Guildford, the driver said that working with Max was just a dream, and he was super lovely and helpful too! The car was spotless - it was 9 years old and looked brand new. I couldn't believe how well maintained and clean the car was. Buying a car online can be really daunting, but MP Auto had all the warranties and insurance, should the car not have been up to expectations. What a pleasure to be surprised by good service, rather than disappointed by bad! I joked that Max was the new face of the second hand car salesman, but he really is. He always took my calls, helped where he could, no matter how small or silly my request and supported the sale from start to finish. I am blown away by the service and if Max has my next car, I will buy that from him too, even though he's the other end of the country.

MP Auto Group Review – My Scirocco R Experience I had been searching relentlessly all over the country for a Scirocco, with no real success. Then, by chance, we came across MP Auto Group in Shrewsbury. We booked a viewing and set off. As we got close, the final part of the route proved tricky, so I rang ahead. Max said, “I’ll come onto the road and guide you in.” A young chap appeared, waving from a distance, little did I know this was the owner of this prestigious car business. And there it was, the gleaming white Scirocco R, parked proudly in front of Max’s showroom, glistening in the afternoon sun. Max introduced himself and spoke passionately about his love for quality cars, which was obvious from the immaculate showroom and the condition of the cars inside. We’d told ourselves we were “just looking” that day. But then came the test drive. Pulling out of the junction, I gave the accelerator a firm push and the tyres responded in unison, propelling us forward effortlessly. At the turnaround point, I swapped with my wife so she could drive back. Sitting in the back, I realised my “just looking” mindset had vanished. I was completely hooked. By the time we returned, there was no going away to “think it over.” I left my wife to negotiate while I just grinned like a happy fool. A deposit was paid, then a bank transfer for the next chunk, this Scirocco was coming home with us. For context, my previous pride and joy was a Lotus, beautiful but not ideal as a daily driver. I was hoping to find another special car that ticked all the boxes. The Scirocco did exactly that. The car came in pristine condition, with a full service history, recent cambelt and water pump replacement, and all the mechanical work logged. The previous owner had clearly cherished it. Max may be young, but he’s a true professional with a rare passion for sourcing exceptional cars. For anyone searching for a real gem in the automotive world, he’s your man. PS: The next day, I checked the oil, it was as clean as if it had just come out of the can. I feel incredibly lucky to have found both this car and such an excellent dealership. Thank you, Max. Smooth experience from the start, car was fully prepped ready for the viewing, as I intended and taking the car away on the day. This was cleaned, polished and serviced . Great test drive, insisted on opening it up on the nationals and was of a good distance as well. Salesman was well clued up on cars so was able to have a good chat on the road test. Gave a good part ex price as well. Highly recommend this seller.

What can I say….. max absolutely blew it out the park for me on this! After meeting max when I purchased a supra from him 6 months ago I knew that I’d be back again. I called him up to do a deal on taking my supra in part ex and sourcing me a Yaris GR that had to meet quite specific criteria. Was that a problem for him…..nope! In 13 days I was collecting my new car that max had to personally collect from Scotland, he jumped on a flight and made my request a reality! It’s so refreshing when doing a deal like this that you don’t feel like a “customer” but something a bit more special. Max really knows how to make every deal personal. I’m going to start calling him Jim Carrey as he is the real “yes man”.

I travelled by rail and was collected from the station in the vehicle so that I could test drive the vehicle immediately. The vehicle was as described and had previously had a full walk around video for convenience. As for the vehicle itself, finished and prepared to a very high level, immaculately clean inside and out. Full service history and Max was very knowledgeable about the vehicle specifically in terms of its provenance. I would definitely recommend MP Auto Group for sales and sourcing vehicles in the future.
