After calling up and talking to Max about the car, he explained everything and then I put a deposit down for the car I then went and picked it up the next week. In April 2026 I purchased a 2017 BMW 420D from Max at MP Auto Group which I couldn’t be happier with! From the first phone call enquiring about the car, I could tell Max was different to any other car salesman I’d ever previously dealt with. It’s clear that Max is a car enthusiast and has great product knowledge. He was super friendly on the phone, even offering a video call to show me any slight imperfections before I made the journey to see the car. When viewing the car, everything was exactly as described, the car was in excellent condition and was presented beautifully having just been machine polished. Everything was easy to arrange and Max was very accommodating with availability. He made me feel very comfortable, almost like talking to a friend and he wasn’t pushy or pressurising, and he made it clear I didn’t have to make a decision there and then. Due to having a few issues with my previous car (Not bought from or related to MP Auto Group) including a delay in taking off a personal registration, it presented a slight delay in the process. Max was very understanding of this and was willing to hold the car for myself despite other interest. The whole process from start to finish including the arrangement of finance was made as simple and as easy as possible. I could not have asked for a better experience, I was kept informed throughout, communication was great from day one and the customer service was nothing short of outstanding! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, from the greeting, walk-around, test drive and finally down to making the purchase. These lads pride themselves on supplying a quality experience and quality cars, I was buying the cheapest one on the lot and it had an extensive service history and was presented to me in immaculate condition, I was treated no different to someone buying a more expensive car. The prices of their collection are fair to what the market represents, yet they only offer vehicles (in my experience) that are well-maintained and worry-free as a buyer, which in its own right is worth a lot! Easy contact made via Autotrader, getting me a quick response from Max at MP Auto Group. The guys are easy to deal with, offering friendly, professional communications describing the car in detail and very accurately. It was easy to arrange a deposit to secure the car for viewing. Kept in touch with Max and Lawrence when travelling to view the car. After a 3 hour drive I confirmed exact location by phone when almost at site. Welcomed by Lawrence on arrival and brought into the secure, pleasant surroundings to view the car. It was an unhurried experience and was left respectfully to check out everything on the car. Although I was focussed on the car I came to view, I was impressed by the good range of quality performance cars on site in good condition and securely stored. Lawrence accompanied me on a test drive, guiding along a good, varied route, taking in a range of roads and conditions. When I was satisfied with the car, we went to their pleasant, quiet office to make payment arrangements. There were good facilities to use Wi-Fi to pay tax and finalise insurance changes. The team have kept in touch showing true interest in the customer experience. I would be pleased to use them again.

The guys at MP Auto Group were absolutely great. I dealt mainly with Max over messages prior to viewing the car, and Lawrence sorted me out at the garage. Both were great, friendly and very patient considering some of the difficulties on my end that caused some delay and changes. I couldn’t recommend a better place to look for your next car, especially for high spec cars as they seen to stock some very nice examples. On top of all this, I had one minor complication with my car after taking it away and without asking was offered for it to be compensated for which was a welcome surprise.
